In most cases yes! The only time this wouldn’t happen is if the item is no longer available by the manufacturer or vendor. In that case, you will be given an option from a list of gifts from similar category to choose from which has the exact monetary value or higher as the item that you have been successfully funded for. One thing’s for sure is you’ll never be shortchanged at One Dollar Genie.

One of our lovely genie agents will get in touch with you either by notification or by phone/email depending which items you’ve won. A car or any real estate winnings do require a more complex procedure eg. legal documents/agreements. Items such as smart phones or gadgets that do not require you to claim possession of it in person will be delivered to your registered address.
Absolutely not! However, we do want to reward those that go the extra mile for us, and may reward you with a mystery gift.
Unfortunately no. Every winner will be given a one-time access to the moment sharing section. Of course, we do appreciate it if you share our work with your friends and families.
Our system is fully automated and cannot be manipulated by us. All bids have track records in case an investigation is called upon. Robbing a person’s dream is absolutely not cool, and it goes against our commitments, principles and everything that we believe in.
If the targeted bid is not met, all money will be refunded automatically at the expiry of the listings (excluding the third party vendor fee). We don’t get to keep a single cent.

Absolutely Not. One Dollar Genie is not a gambling site and should not be treated so. Our website is based on the fundamentals of Crowdfunding and E-commerce where all tickets bought are essentially funds given for the purpose of funding for a cause. Here funders can fund any of the items listed on our site while standing a chance to be the recipient of the crowdfunded gift. Unlike any gambling websites, we do not offer any monetary exchange for any of our awarded gift. While funding for luxury gifts are great fun, generous donors could also choose to donate to our relief funds to help those in need.
